The Buransh or the Rhododendron flower is common in the valleys of the Himalayas as they set the forests ablaze with their colour twice a year. It is the state tree of Uttarakhand. These bright scarlet red bell-shaped flowers filled with sweet nectar have many medicinal uses. Our first floor room is named after this hugely beneficial flower. The Buransh room is 12 by 15 feet in size with ample fresh air and natural light and an attached bathroom. The intentionally-done rugged flooring combined with yellow lighting and comfortable seating give guests a warm cosy setting enabling them to forget the mundane thoughts of life and just soak in the rustic mountain ambience. By the way, the kitchenette is just across, so the occasional cup of coffee doesn’t require much effort too!
